Product Development

From Idea to Production-Ready Sample

Whether you provide a finished technical drawing, a reference sample, or an early product idea, BODA helps evaluate materials, construction, craftsmanship, and production feasibility before mass production begins.

Good development reduces costly revisions, protects product quality, and gives brands greater confidence before placing an order.

  1. Step 01:

    Understand the Product

We review your drawings, reference samples, dimensions, target price, intended market, and quality expectations.

Clear requirements help prevent unnecessary revisions.

  2. Step 02:

    Evaluate Materials and Construction

Our team evaluates suitable leather, hardware, lining, structure, craftsmanship, and production methods.

Special leather and hardware feasibility is normally evaluated within three days.

  3. Step 03:

    Create the First Sample

A dedicated sample maker develops the pattern and produces the first physical sample for review.

Most samples are completed within 7–10 days after details and materials are confirmed.

  4. Step 04:

    Refine the Details

We review shape, proportions, usability, structure, stitching, hardware, and finishing, then complete the agreed revisions.

Minor revisions normally require around three days. Major structural revisions may require approximately seven days.

  5. Step 05:

    Prepare for Production

Once the sample is approved, we confirm specifications, materials, workmanship standards, packaging requirements, and production details.

The approved sample becomes the reference standard for production and quality inspection.

Development Built Around Clarity

We provide realistic feasibility feedback before asking customers to invest in sampling or production.

Feasibility Feedback
Special leather and hardware feasibility normally assessed within 3 days.
Sample Lead Time
Most confirmed sample developments completed within 7–10 days.
Revision Support
Minor revisions around 3 days; major structural revisions around 7 days.

Material responsibility: For materials that are new, highly specialized, or unavailable through our existing supply chain, customers may need to provide a physical swatch, reference sample, or nominated material supplier.

Our Story

Built Through Experience. Growing Through Partnership.

BODA was founded in 2003 as a family-owned leather handbag manufacturer in Guangzhou.

Today, the company is led by a new generation of manufacturing leadership built on years of hands-on experience in products, sourcing, order management, and factory operations.

Chapter 01

At the age of 22, BODA’s current leader joined the factory and began his career in purchasing and order management.

Working closely with materials, suppliers, production teams, and customers gave him a practical understanding of how handbag ideas become real products.

Chapter 02

At the age of 30, he began leading the company’s operations and adjusted BODA’s product direction toward higher-quality genuine leather women’s handbags.

Rather than competing through low prices, the company chose to focus on craftsmanship, product quality, responsible production, and long-term customer relationships.

Chapter 03

At the age of 40, he began guiding BODA into its next stage: moving from domestic orders toward direct partnerships with international fashion brands.

This transformation combines more than two decades of manufacturing experience with modern tools, international communication, digital systems, and a stronger product-development mindset.

His philosophy remains simple:

Be reliable. Do practical work. Think from the customer’s perspective.

Our job is not simply to make handbags. Our responsibility is to help customers build products they can confidently bring to market.
